Editorial pitch · Example
Expert editorial feature
Develop a story around a specific contribution and pitch it to a relevant professional publication.
This is an illustrative format, not a live listing. No outlet, organiser, partnership or availability is implied.
- Audience & fit
- A professional or trade audience relevant to your field. The named outlet and audience information must be confirmed before purchase.
- Who makes the decision
- The publication’s editor decides whether to commission and publish the story. A fee for preparation does not purchase editorial approval.
- The proposed service scope
- An agreed story brief, factual preparation, pitching to the named outlet and status updates. Exact revisions and scope will be stated in the listing.
- What you contribute
- Provide source material, confirm the facts and respond to questions. Obtain permission for any confidential or employer-owned information.
- What to keep as evidence
- If published: the article, title, author, date, URL and context about the outlet. Keep the editorial correspondence and disclosed arrangement, too.
- Timeline & dependencies
- An estimated range will be set for the named outlet, including customer inputs and editorial dependencies. No turnaround is promised for this example.
- Refund & cancellation
- Under our planned model, if the named outlet declines and no publication is delivered, the opportunity is fully refunded. Other cancellation conditions will be shown before purchase.
